Why would you pay your bills the "old fashioned" way?
Nowadays it seems like everything is centered around the technology of the internet. With this technology it has enabled businesses and consumers to have quick and easy access to paying for services and receiving payments faster than they did in the past. With everythong being accessible through the internet with just a few clicks, why would you want to take the time to mail in payments, or drive to the store to buy things when you can simply do it online? There are so many more advantages to paying online that it will more than likey phase out this old way of paying for things in the future.

I agree. The age of actually sitting down getting money orders and writing out checks and mailing them is a thing of the past. I pay all my bill online. It is so easy and convenient. I don;t have to worry about if my payment got there on time or if it got lost in the mail. I get a confirmation as soon as I click the "submit this paymen" button, and I have no worries about whether my bill payment went through.
ReplyDeleteThe payment services make it easy for me to also do what I love to do the most which is "shoping". I am always trying to get the latest trends in clothes and shoes, and the services allows me to do that efficiently online. Online payment services was one of the best things to happen. It gives me one less thing to worry about, and saves gas and money. The way the economy is now and these high gas prices, I need to save all I can.
For the most part I pay my bills online versus over the phone or mailing it in.It is so convenient and I can do it almost anywhere and anytime. I really like how most of the companies I deal with (credit cards) send me email notifications that let me know my balance, when the bill is due, and whether or not they have recieved my payment. I have always hated paper bills and so with paying online I have been able to sign up for ebill. I even pay my rent online. The only thing I cannot pay online is my water bill becasue it is done through the city I live in. I would definitley suggest to anyone with a busy lifestyle, that they should pay their bills online.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely the type of person that pays my bills online or have them come out of my account at the same time every month. I believe it's about time we as a society begin to evolve and develop new ways for doing old things, like paying bills. Paperless billing is so much more environmentally friendly and definitely saves consumers a lot of hassle. I also think companies that allow their clients to pay bills online are making things easier on themselves because they don't have to worry about checks going through the mail or even bounced checks. I enjoy the luxury of sitting at home & having peace of mind that all of my bills are paid once I click submit.
